To my fashion forward followers,
I have decided to design a blog as I am a very opinionated fashionista and I love discussing fashion so please feel free to discuss anything with me.
The most important things you must know about me :-)
1- I'm British born, half Bahraini (which is a small country in the Persian Gulf), quarter Irish and quarter English. I'm very proud of my heritage and I love to explore different cultures and ethnic backgrounds.
2- I have a huge family, half my family live in the beautiful Kingdom of Bahrain, I have a beautiful sister there and 2 handsome brothers along with my one in a million dad and step mum. Back at home in London I have my gorgeous yummy mummy and my very arty sister. I have very young and active grandparents who I go to the gym with daily and we do most things together. I have a number of very close aunties, uncles and cousins that are situated all over the world. And I cannot forget to mention my absolutely wonderful Boyfriend who I would never replace (not even for a Chanel Bag, lol). He is my world, and I thankful I have been blessed with such a wonderful man. I am very lucky.
3- During my schools days I always had a passion for art, art took over my childhood. During my life planning, my Dad had very strong opinions on me becoming a 'Wall Street Executive' and to follow my Mums career but luckily my mum pushed me into following my heart, following my passion for fashion - Sorry Daddy I love you but this makes me very happy. During this process it was very challenging as my working career has gone from exclusive designer stores to law firms. Now I can truly say that I am now on the right the path for my career. I intern at various exclusive London locations so I can get hands on knowledge and gain solid experience to really flourish in he industry.
4- I have various exciting projects that I am currently working on. It's all early days but I will keep everyone updated by blogging. I have also designed my website which will also display jewellery and hair accessories I have created. Also I love editorial styling and love creating outfits to make people look glamorous and stunning.
5- My interests vary from week to week so maybe I’ll keep changing this section, lol. At the moment I love Yoga, which has been for while now so maybe this one’s a keeper, My boyfriend has started to get me into boxing (this one I’m not so sure about). I love Art, I visit all museums when I get some free time. I love love love vintage, from looking at my blog you'll soon learn that I love to talk about the past. I love films, black and white especially, breakfast at tiffany’s. I read alot of books, love stories, Arabian stories. I have a huge weakness for American TV, maybe I shouldn’t admit it but hey, I gotta be honest, right? This consists of The Hills, The City, Running in heels, The kardashians, Kourtney and Khloe in Miami, Desperate Housewives and Gossip Girl. And I should tell you I love love love food, which I know is not the best subject to most but I have to start talking more about it rather than eating it, sorry if it makes you hungry.....But Ben and Jerry cookie dough is a must have item, lamb tikka masala, anything garlic, oh and Pepsi max.
6- Most importantly who I love and wear, I love anything Chanel, Zac Posen amazing, Vivien Westwood, Tom Ford, Matthew Williamson but this list goes on and on.........Now as for vintage items, I have a huge weakness for designer vintage, I know its pricey but they are must have items, now can someone please tell me how I need to go about getting Halston and Biba back into my life. But my main area I focus on is accessories, I love hats, hair accessories, jewellery and anything that is stated as OVER THE TOP.
